Physical Versus Chemical Sunscreens

Do you look after your skin in the sun? Are you protecting your skin from skin cancer and damage? What sunscreen products are you using…? This may be an odd question to ask but it’s a very important one! No, we are not talking about the percentage of SPF you may be using, but in fact the ingredients of products you may be using. It can be concerning for your general health!

We all know how important it is protecting our skin from the sun, but we never think to read the back of the label when purchasing sun protection that should be doing us better than harm! Do you know the difference between physical and chemical sunscreens?

PHYSICAL SUNSCREEN is a form of sun protection which creates a barrier protecting you from the sun by bouncing off sunrays – like a mirror. The ingredients used to create this barrier are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide these ingredients are completely harmless and all natural providing you with protection against the sun! These ingredients are used in our products here at The Dripclub.

CHEMICAL SUNSCREEN can be found in your urine and blood samples up to 24hrs after wear! These chemicals manage to swim there way into the bloodstream and can cause major issues for your health in the future. Some of these ingredients include avobenzone, octinoxate and oxybenzone.
