Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Our laser skin rejuvenation techniques can drastically improve many of the most common skin concerns. The lasers we use can help to reduce redness, pigmentation, sun damage, melasma and even scarring. The ablative, non-ablative, pigment pulverising and anti-redness lasers we use can be increased or decreased in power depending on your skin’s sensitivity, to ensure the best outcome with the shortest possible downtime, if any!
Benefits
Target a range of concerns
Laser skin rejuvenation can target a wide range of skin concerns, including vascular conditions like rosacea, redness and capillaries, spider veins, acne and acne scarring. It also effectively targets ageing concerns such as skin laxity, enlarged pores and fine lines. Finally, it also helps pigmentation and sun damaged skin.
Specific laser technology
Combat your skin concerns with our range of lasers, each designed to deal with a specific type of concern. All of our equipment is adjustable in power, so we can help to improve both mild and severe cases depending.
Short recovery times
Keep up with your busy schedule even after your laser skin rejuvenation. Our trained staff will use the perfect balance on our laser products to drastically improve your skin, whilst not causing any unnecessary damage, minimising the downtime after your treatment.
How it works
During ablative laser rejuvenation, an intense beam of light energy (laser) is directed at your skin. The laser beam destroys the outer layer of skin (epidermis). At the same time, the laser heats the underlying skin (dermis), which stimulates collagen production over time, resulting in better skin tone and texture.
Ablative laser resurfacing typically takes between 30 minutes and two hours, depending on the technique used and the size of the area treated.
After ablative laser rejuvenation, we will apply a thick ointment to the treated skin and cover the area with an airtight and watertight dressing. You may take a pain reliever and use cool compresses. New skin usually covers the area in one or two weeks. During this time do not use products that may irritate your face, such as cosmetics and sunscreens, and avoid situations that increase your risk of infection, such as swimming.
