Medical Peel

A medical peel accelerates your skin’s natural exfoliation process by applying a safe, chemical solution to your skin. When the solution is peeled away, it removes the outermost layer of skin to improve your skin cell turnover. The strength of the treatment can also be varied to personalise the treatment for best results for any skin!

Benefits

Improve skin concerns

Medical peels can assist with and improve a variety of skin concerns including acne, ageing spots, scarring and more.

Three types available

The treatment strength can be varied depending on the skin sensitivity and desired results. At Dripclub we offer three different types of chemical peels: mild, medium or deep peels.

Healthier skin

Medical peels improve the skin’s colour, clarity, tone and texture, and stimulate new collagen and healthy skin cell growth, resulting in a radiant complexion.

How it works

Our medical peels consist of a gel-like substance, applied to the face in a thin layer painted over the skin.

When active, the gel works to remove the outermost layer or layers of skin, increasing skin cell turnover in the process to foster the growth of new, rejuvenated cells. The gel remains active until it is neutralised with water. This timing of this neutralisation depends on the strength of the gel applied and the desired outcome.

For long-term results, we recommend a series of three or more chemical peels, spaced four to six weeks apart. The benefit of receiving a series of peels is that this treatment will be able to target the deeper layers of the epidermis, giving your skin an enhanced exfoliation. This type of deep exfoliation can stimulate cellular turnover, resulting in the production of healthy, glowing skin.

The type of chemical peel used will be determined by your Skin Therapist during your initial consultation based on your skin type, its current condition, your lifestyle and your desired outcome.

Treatment types

Mild treatment.

Perfect for those with busy schedules! See major improvements with short appointments every few weeks, keeping you on the move with minimal downtime and redness.

Medium strength treatment.

Strike a balance between shorter downtime and greater initial results. With a greater concentration of active ingredients in the solution, it causes the skin to peel off after a period of redness and swelling.

Deep chemical peels.

Perfect to target more sun damaged and heavily wrinkled skin. These have the most downtime but are also most effective at addressing significant or deep skin concerns. Skin may be red and take several weeks to peel due to the strength of the deeper chemical treatments, which work further into the skin’s surface.

Leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and completely relaxed.

Your Skin Therapist will design a personalised Facial Treatment to target any skin concerns or challenges.
